TRACK is the abbreviation of Tripod Analysis and Categorization Kit. It is based on a reactive accident analysis method. The TRACK computer program supports the analysis and simplifies the ordering of the results.

Goal of a TRACK analysis is the identification of the steps leading directly or indirectly to the accident that can be controlled as to prevent accidents in the future. TRACK makes use of two checklists as to identify latent failures and accessory Basic Risk Factors (BRFs) that caused an accident. The checklists used are the ‘Leads To’ and ‘Caused By’ checklist.
